During the annual gala of modern business services BPO/SSC held in Warsaw, Bydgoszcz received the award for best city in Poland in the category of new locations for shared services centers. Thus defeated nominated cities: Szczecin, Rzeszow, Lublin and Opole.
The warehouse space market in Poland is growing gradually and 2015 was a record-breaking year in terms of demand and supply. Bydgoszcz first place in the World Bank report "Doing Business in Poland 2015", the title of "Most investor-friendly city", awarded by the magazine "Eurobuild Central & Eastern Europe" and the attractive offer of investment areas mean that investors from the warehouse- logistics sector are more willing to place their projects in Bydgoszcz.
Bydgoszcz won in the category "Most investor-friendly city” during the 6th edition of the competition organized by the prestigious magazine Eurobuild.
On Friday 20th November 2015 in Bydgoszcz was held a meeting of the management board representatives of the Association of Business Service Leaders ABSL - the largest organization of BPO/SSC sector in Poland, dedicated to the opportunities associated with the rapid development of the market of modern services for business and investment potential of Bydgoszcz.
According to the PAIiIZ and Hays Poland report: “10 years of BSS in Poland”, 56% of companies providing modern services for business (BSS) in Bydgoszcz specialized in IT services. Next to Rzeszow (44%) and Katowice (38%), the city boasts the largest number (55%) of workers employed in the IT centers.
The Board of the company is building a capital group. The construction of biosurfactants production line, started in 2014, is is nearing completion. The report for the second quarter of this year shows an almost threefold increase in assets – up to 24.36 mln zł (8.74 million in the same period of 2014) as a result from the introduction to the Boruta-Zachem property the value of new equipment and installations.
