The Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency Ltd. is a company established to inspire actions supporting the economic development, including the improvements in SME sector. BARR supports entrepreneurship by, i.a. realising non-commercial training projects organized for the inhabitants of the City. Fulfilling its aims, the Agency cooperates with businesses, science and administration sectors.

THE TRAINING PROJECTS OF THE BYDGOSZCZ REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
The Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency is realizing a non-commercial “Business School” project which supports entrepreneurship in Bydgoszcz by organising a number of trainings, workshops and seminars. The project gives entrepreneurs, employees and individuals wishing to start their own business the opportunity to develop personal and vocational competences. The aim of the project is to provide entrepreneurs and their employees with further training and development in management and business activity. The objective of the BARR’s meetings is to combine practice with experience and theory.
The participation in the training is free of charge.
In 2015, the Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency organized 52 non-commercial workshops and seminars attended by almost 2100 students.
Bydgoszcz looking for talents
The Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency is realising a non-commercial project “Bydgoszcz looking for talents” which is aimed at stimulating an entrepreneurial approach among the local community, supporting business start and development, as well as increasing staff qualifications in order to prepare them best to the needs of the labour market. 1,400 students.
Since 2014, the Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency has been realizing trainings held as part of Bydgoszcz BPO School project. The main aim of the project is to train staff to address the needs of employers and to organise several-month’s apprenticeship in a company participating in the project. After graduation, a participant who obtained new IT knowledge is to become a competent employee in the company participating in the programme. The project is financed by the District Employment Office in Bydgoszcz and supports cost-free preparation of staff to address the needs of a particular company.
The project allowed to guarantee permanent place of work to the unemployed registered in the District Employment Office.
