A few words about the Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency

The Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency is a business environment institution, a municipal company operating on a non-profit basis. It was established in 2013 by the City of Bydgoszcz in order to support investors and entrepreneurs and to promote the economic potential of Bydgoszcz. The Agency’s tasks focus on the comprehensive support for investment processes in the city, at every stage, as well as assistance to entrepreneurs as a part of post-investment care.

The activities undertaken by the company serve to attract new investments which create new jobs, economic promotion of the city of Bydgoszcz and stimulating the local economy, including the creation of entrepreneurial attitudes.


The Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency is the effect of consequently implemented policy of the City of Bydgoszcz aimed at providing support to investors and entrepreneurs. We continue the activities which were previously carried out by the

DEPARTMENT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUPPORT

Is responsible for entrepreneurship support.

The main tasks of the department include:

  • cooperation with local governmental institutions, associations, foundations, companies and business environment institutions in the area of trainings, workshops as well as promotion and stimulation of entrepreneurial attitude in the region,
  • realisation of projects promoting cooperation between entrepreneurs.

DEPARTMENT OF INVESTOR SERVICE

is responsible for the direct support of investors and the preparation of an investment offer of the City of Bydgoszcz.

The main tasks of the department include:

  • creating an up-to-date database of investment offers,
  • creating and updating statistical and economic databases for Bydgoszcz,
  • preparation of dedicated investment proposals,
  • creating a database of investors,
  • attracting new investors and supporting them during the post
  • investment period,
  • cooperation with entrepreneurs as part of after-investment services,
  • cooperation with consulting agencies and other institutions involved in
  • the acquisition and providing services to investors at the regional,
  • national and international level,
  • participation in promotional events, including conferences, fairs, forums,
  • B2B meetings,
  • realisation of projects aimed at supporting the cooperation between entrepreneurs.

DEPARTMENT OF MARKETING

is responsible for matters related to marketing, promotion and public relations.

The main tasks of the department include:

  • the development and implementation of marketing plans of the Agency,
    PR service,
  • selection of contractors and ongoing cooperation in marketing and public relations,
  • planning and realisation of the marketing-training budget,
  • economic promotion of the City of Bydgoszcz, participation in conferences, workshops aimed at promoting Bydgoszcz and the region.

DEPARTMENT OF PROJECTS

Conducts matters related to the implementation of projects Conducts matters related to the implementation of projects co-financed from external funds.

The tasks of the department include:

  • development and implementation of the Company’s projects,
  • cooperation with business support institutions in the scope of implementation of projects supporting entrepreneurship,
  • cooperation with JST in the scope of projects dedicated to economic promotion,
  • implementation of procedures related to public procurement in the Company.

MANAGEMENT OFFICE

is directly subordinate to the Executive Board. The tasks of the Management Office include the organisational support of the Agency. These are realised by specialists dedicated to address the specific matters, i.e. legal, EU funds and secretarial support.
